About Montréal

CF Montréal is a Canadian professional soccer club based in Montreal, Quebec, founded in 1992 as the Montreal Impact before beginning play in MLS in 2012 as the league’s nineteenth franchise and third Canadian club. The club rebranded in 2021 and has since been known simply as CF Montréal. The team plays its home matches at Saputo Stadium, a soccer-specific stadium with a natural grass playing surface.
